VDSDK 1.37 significant licensing changes announcement.

We want to announce that the next VDSDK release will include some significant licensing changes.

There will be 2 VDSDK versions: Demo and Full.

Demo version will be sent to the download archives.
It will not support 64 bit runtime and multiple disks creation.

To receive Full VDSDK version (including 32 and 64 bit runtime) user will have to acquire one of the following licenses:

1)   FREEWARE LICENSE ($0). This is the most significant change. VDSDK can be used for freeware applications development. Commercial usage is prohibited. All the future updates will be available for downloading.
2)   COMMERCIAL APP LICENSE. VDSDK can be used for the only one commercial application. Only minor updates will be available (e.g. 1.37, 1.38 ... 1.99).
3)   COMMERCIAL APP DELUXE LICENSE. VDSDK can be used for the only one commercial application. All the future updates will be available for downloading.
4)   COMMERCIAL COMPANY LICENSE. VDSDK can be used for any product of the specific company. Only minor updates will be available (e.g. 1.37, 1.38 ... 1.99).
5)   COMMERCIAL COMPANY DELUXE LICENSE. VDSDK can be used for any product of the specific company. All the future updates will be available for downloading.
6)   PLATINUM LICENSE. VDSDK can be used for any product of the specific company. All the future updates will be available for downloading. All the source codes will be available as well.

All the current customers will receive the COMMERCIAL COMPANY DELUXE LICENSE.
